If you love high quality swimwear, you’ve come to the right place. Keep reading for my byCassandre swimwear review! I came across this brand on Instagram a few weeks ago, and I love their gorgeous designs. byCassandre is a small female owned swimwear company based in Montreal, Canada. The bikinis are all handmade in Montreal and Brazil using recycled fabric imported from Brazil and Italy.
I’m wearing the VIP Bandeau bikini set in a size XS.
Most bandeau tops tend to slide down on me and fit uncomfortably across my back. I have an athletic build, so my back is a bit wider than most women my size. The VIP Bandeau top in XS fits incredibly well and I don’t get any indentations from the fabric when I take it off. The top doesn’t slide down or cause any weird bulging that I normally get with tight fitting bandeau tops.
The only drawback with this top is that it doesn’t come with pads, so if you’re uncomfortable with that, I would recommend buying pasties or hypoallergenic nipple covers like these to wear underneath. Just keep in mind that most nipple covers are not waterproof, so you might want to skip them if you plan on going into the water.
The bottoms of this set are definitely a little more revealing in the front, so be sure to size up if you’re worried about showing too much. I ordered a size XS when I probably should’ve gone with a small, but you live and you learn, and the bottoms still fit nicely! This set matches so perfectly and the high-cut leg on the bottoms is right on trend.
