When I’m not traveling, I love to follow other travel bloggers on their adventures and daydream about my next vacation. Traveling has become a big part of my life in the last two years, but since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, I had to cancel all my travel plans for the spring and summer. It was disappointing at first, but it’s important to remember that everyone has a role to play in stopping the spread of the virus, so if that means I have to stay put for a while, then I will.  As a result, I’ve switched to some travel alternatives to feed my inner wanderlust and give me some  inspiration for when it’s safe to travel again.

This week, I want to share some of my absolute favorite travel bloggers who share the most amazing adventures, beautiful photography, and give me massive travel inspiration.

Sophie from Solo Sophie

SoloSophie

Sophie Nadeau is an English travel blogger at Solosophie.com living her best life in Paris and exploring the world one destination at a time. I started following Sophie about 4 years ago when I was planning my trip to Paris. Sophie has traveled all over the world and is probably one of the most knowledgeable travel bloggers I’ve come across. She always has the best advice. and reading her blog is like chatting with your best  friend about her incredible adventures. Did I mention that she’s also an amazing photographer?  Sometimes simply scrolling through Sophie’s instagram is all the travel inspiration I need. Go see for yourself!

Sydney from Divine On The Road

DivineontheRoad

One of my travel goals for 2020 was to explore more of the USA, and that goal was partly inspired by Sydney from divineontheroad.com. Sydney is a solo female traveler who travels around the United States in a converted Ford Transit with her adorable pups Ella and Pearl. I stumbled upon Sydney’s blog in mid 2019 while searching Pinterest for travel inspiration. I was immediately enthralled by her nomadic lifestyle and entrepreneurial spirit. Sydney is part of a growing community of people who work remotely and travel full time in their vehicle of choice. Although I’m probably not cut out for van-life, I love following Sydney’s adventures across the U.S. and she’s been a huge source of travel inspiration for me! She also hosts her very own podcast called My Solo Road, which I’ve been totally obsessed with. Follow her on Instagram @divineontheroad to keep up with her daily adventures. If you’re interested in solo van-life, I 100% recommend checking out Sydney’s blog and give her podcast a listen! She has all the information you’ll ever need to give van-life a try. I promise you’ll love it!

Emma from Emmas Edition

EmmasEdition

Emma from Emma’s Edition is a fashion, lifestyle, and travel blogger from Seattle, Washington. While her blog doesn’t focus super heavily on travel, she does have a series of posts featuring the most instagrammable spots in popular travel destinations and the occasional travel guide and review.  I love how Emma’s personality shines through all of her posts and I think of all the bloggers I follow, she’s definitely one of the most authentic. Emma’s “Most Instagrammable Spots”posts are super popular, so be sure to check them out before your next trip! I promise you they’re totally worth the read! You can also find Emma on instagram @emmasedition!

Ashlea from Ashlea Paige

AshleaPaige

Ashlea Paige is an Australian-born travel blogger who has become my go-to resource for travel inspiration and destination guides. Ashlea has traveled to some of the world’s most sought after destinations, so her blog is bursting with travel guides, packing lists, and photos of the most beautiful places on Earth. She has tons of articles on her blog, but they’re well organized so you can find exactly what you’re looking for. As someone who LOVES planning and organizing, Ashlea’s blog is an absolute goldmine for me when I’m in the mood to plan my next getaway! While you may not be able to implement her travel tips or actively book your next getaway, you can get a head start on planning your next trip itinerary. Check out Ashlea’s blog and instagram and get ready to be totally obsessed!

Katherine from The Weekend Fox

TheWeekendFox

I found Katherine’s blog, The Weekend Fox about a year ago, and I’m so glad that I did! I love her down-to-earth vibes and unique travel perspective. Her blog has a great variety of both  international and U.S. travel destinations, and as a Florida native, Katherine is definitely an expert at curating the perfect weekend trips to the sunshine state. Give her blog a read and see for yourself! You can also find Katherine on Instagram @theweekendfox. I’ve only ever visited Florida to go to Disney World and see family in Fort Lauderdale, but Florida has so much more to offer. Hopefully once it’s safe to travel again, I can put her recommendations and travel tips to good use!
