Summer is officially here and I couldn’t be happier! It’s time for cute summer dresses, (socially distant) trips to the beach, weekend hikes through nature preserves, and soaking in the sunshine! Whatever your summer plans may be, make sure to keep these 12 Amazon summer essentials on hand to keep you happy, hydrated, and sunburn free!

Drink tumbler

Whether your lounging by the pool, laying out on the beach, or barbecuing in the backyard, you’ll probably always need something to drink. Keep it cool and spill proof with a stainless steel drink tumbler. They come in a ton of fun styles and designs and they’re washable, so no need for disposable plastic cups!

Drink Cup holder for the Beach

Few things bother me more than sand getting in places it shouldn’t like the bottom of your drink cup, which inevitably leads to globs of wet sand falling into your lap when you try to drink from it. This starfish shaped drink holder is the perfect mess-free and spill-proof stand for your favorite drinks on the beach. These are also great for picnics in the park when you don’t want to risk knocking your drink over!

Portable Beach Cooler Backpack

Gone are the days of clunky and unattractive plastic coolers. Of course you could always lug one to the beach if you wanted to, but this chic backpack does the trick with none of the awkward shuffling. This leakproof cooler backpack has a huge insulated main compartment that can hold up to 30 cans of soda, multiple zippered compartments, and padded shoulder straps to keep you comfortable. As far as summer must haves go, a cooler backpack is probably the most useful on my list of Amazon Summer Essentials because it’s perfect for any summer adventures you have planned!

Portable Power Bank with AC outlet

If you don’t have a portable power bank with an AC outlet, you should get one. As a full-time remote employee and part-time blogger, I’m ALWAYS plugged in, and while I do like to unplug sometimes, there are days when I simply can’t. A convenient wall outlet isn’t always available, so when I know I’ll probably need an outlet, I like to bring along my Halo. The Halo is actually a portable car jump starter that also happens to charge electronics too, so no need to worry about getting stranded out on the road. I’ve had mine for a few years now and it’s honestly an awesome investment!

Waterproof Phone Sleeve

Water and sand are bad news for your phone, but that’s not going to stop you from taking it to the beach. Instead of worrying about dropping your phone in the water or sand, grab a clear waterproof sleeve like this one to protect it. The clear touch sensitive window means you can still scroll through Instagram while laying out in the sun and your phone will remain safe and dry!

Beach Mat w/ Pillow

I always seem to forget something every time I go to the beach and I never remember what it is until I lay down to tan. The second I lay back it hits me. I forgot a sweatshirt to use as a pillow. A beach mat with a pillow attached takes care of that issue every time and you’ll never forget it.

Floppy Hat

No summer outfit is complete without a wide-brimmed floppy hat. They’re so cute, go with everything, and do a great job of shielding your skin from the sun. Amazon has some nice ones, but my favorite has to be this “Hello Sunshine” one. So perfect for sunny afternoons in the park or by the pool!

Beach Umbrella Sand Anchor

Beach umbrellas are either a godsend or a nightmare and that usually depends on how long it stays up before you need to chase it down the beach! Last summer by best friend Sydney used this awesome little sand anchor to put up our umbrella and it didn’t move an inch in 3 hours. It’s so easy to use. All you need to do is find a spot on the beach where the sand is dry and tightly packed. Stick the anchor into the sand and twist using the handles at the top. Once your anchor is securely drilled into the sand, put your beach umbrella in the top, tighten the thumb screw, and you’re all set!

Waterproof Bluetooth Speakers

Bluetooth speakers make any day lounging outside so much better! This bluetooth speaker is sturdy, doubles as a phone charger, and it’s waterproof so an accidental splash of water won’t do any damage! The JBL Bluetooth Speaker comes in a variety of colors, so you’ll definitely find one you like!

Sun Bum Mineral Sunscreen

I know you’ve heard it a million times before, so I’ll save you the speech, but you need to wear sunscreen if you’re going to be outside at all this summer. The Sun Bum Mineral Sunscreen is my absolute favorite face sunscreen. I have sensitive skin and this is the first sunscreen I’ve found that doesn’t break me out. You never want to use regular sunscreen on your face especially if you have sensitive or acne-prone skin.

Coppertone Continuous Spray Sport Sunscreen

When it comes to regular sunscreen, nothing beats Coppertone. The company has been around forever and their products never disappoint. I prefer spray over lotion, but they have different options based on your needs. If you’re going to go with a spray, I 100% recommend the continuous spray sport sunscreen at SPF 50.

Swimsuit Coverup Romper

Every swimsuit needs a cute coverup! Rompers are great because you get the ease of a dress with the practicality of shorts! I love this strapless version because it doesn’t look too casual, so it would be super easy to transition from a day laying out on the beach to a dinner date with a simple swap of accessories and shoes!

Beachy Sandals

Speaking of shoes, grab yourself a pair of beachy sandals to add to your footwear rotation. Strappy gladiator styles with girly accents like pearls and gold hardware are on trend and match with everything. If you’re not so into the girly styles, studded sandals are also having a huge moment this summer too!
