Disney World is one of my favorite places in the world! I went for the first time last February and I’ve been itching to go back ever since. I actually have a trip planned for early September this year! One of my favorite parts of going to Disney is putting together outfits and experimenting with my personal style. Even though we went to Disney in the middle of winter, central Florida is HOT. I did a bunch of research on what people typically wear to Disney World and most blogs suggested light colored clothing and comfortable sneakers.
With the help of Pinterest, I put together Disney themed outfits, complete with ears, for every day of my trip! Check out 3 outfits inspired by the The Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and The Animal Kingdom theme parks.
Outfit #1: The Magic Kingdom
Nothing quite captures the essence of Disney World like Mickey himself. I picked up this super cute vintage-inspired Mickey t-shirt from Forever21 about a week before my trip. I paired my Mickey t-shirt with some dark-wash high waisted shorts from American Eagle Outfitters and finished off the outfit with a pair of whimsical Minnie Mouse ears and my pink monogrammed magic band of course!
Outfit #2: Hollywood Studios
For our trip to Hollywood Studios, I decided to go for a more Rock n’ Roll vibe by pairing some lightly distressed jeans from American Eagle with a grey crop top (not pictured) and some classic Minnie Mouse Ears . I decided to tie my Minnie Mouse shirt around my waist because it was much warmer than I expected and wearing a dark colored long sleeve t-shirt was 100% out of the question!
Outfit #3: The Animal Kingdom
The outfit I put together for our visit to The Animal Kingdom was my favorite of the trip! I got the idea to DIY an Animal Kingdom inspired shirt from fellow blogger Kassy from Kassy on Design. I paired my DIY t-shirt with a purple gym leggings to keep my sweaty legs from chafing, and tied it all together with a bright white hat and silver Minnie ears from Etsy.
I wore white Converse Chuck Taylor’s everyday and alternated between using a small white crossbody purse and a navy blue studded backpack to hold all my essentials. I got most of my Minnie Mouse Ears from Etsy, but I did purchase two Authentic Disney Parks Ears as souvenirs. Unfortunately, the Etsy shop that I bought my ears from closed, but there are tons of other Disney inspired ear shops to choose from.
